Australian illustrator Neryl Walker is inspired by a love of mid 20th century pop culture, her studio and 1950's home is filled with countless sources of vintage and nostalgic inspiration.
She is best known for her strong, playful girls that depict the female form, similar to the way Mouret is with his draping.
"The female form is just so great to draw, all curves and no hard edges."
The two have a number of similarities in the way of influences, for example Walker also finds inspiration through music, "I see music and art as being creatively intertwined." Along with being inspired by ... and independent women, "any woman who follows her passion...the risk takers!"
